Smoke Detectors Donated by JWI:

  JWI Restoration recently donated 700 smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to the fire departments in Clark, Bourbon and Montgomery counties. The departments distributed the units to those in need and installed them when requested.

This is the second year JWI has made the donation and continues to work with fire department personnel to educate the public on fire prevention

 


 

Water Technicians Attend Continuing Education Class:

JWI’s certified water technicians Shannon Phipps and Brian Crump recently completed training with the newest equipment from Injectidry systems.
The revolutionary technology allows hardwood floor drying to be made simple while maximizing the effectiveness of the other tools and equipment being used.
JWI Restoration stays at the forefront of the latest innovation and training in the industry by requiring continued education of all employees.

 


 

 

 "Green” Restoration & Remodeling

The Home Builders Association of Lexington Remodelers Council recently held a seminar on Green Remodeling and its benefits to homeowners and the environment. JWI’s marketing director; John Stocker attended the event and gathered valuable information about why the new green building is just as important to remodels as new construction. Applications resulting in resource management and conservations are increasingly used in our industry and JWI will continue to utilize these.   


 

 

 

Herrington Lake Boat Dock

JWI was contracted to rebuild this boatdock after floods destroyed the existing one. The components were fabricated at our Winchester shop and trailered to Herrington Lake and put in by crane. The project was then completed on-site.

Historic Cox Building

JWI was contracted to perform the structural drying of the fire damaged Historic Cox Building in Maysville, Kentucky.
Equipment delivering over 1 ¼ million BTU’s of heat and drying power was used to complete the task on the 150,000 square foot structure.  The building was then cleaned and treated for mold prevention and tested to meet hygienic requirements.
